Iron Rods Trek Past the Pioneers

The Iron Rods beat the Pioneers 62-51. They played the best offensive game of any team so far. They made 22-35 shots from the field, 7-13 from beyond the three point line, and made 11 of 12 free throws. They were led by their point guard Lewis Omar. He had 19 points, 7 assists, and 3 rebounds.

The Pioneers played a decent game. The game was close until Lewis Omar hit back to back three pointers to put the Iron Rods up 37-27 at the end of the first half. In the third quarter, the Pioneers had a chance to pull the game within 6 points, but a Pioneer miss and a 7-0 Iron Rod run put the game away.
